Speak and Turn the Corner

by on November 2, 2016

Most churches say that they share the Gospel.
Most pastors say that they encourage their people to share the Gospel.

If this is so, why is it that no one has ever tried to share the Gospel with me? Why is it so rare to see anyone sharing the Gospel with someone while I’m out and about during day to day business; like at the bank, the gas station, grocery store, etc.

Maybe it is because most church members don’t know the Gospel, or have been deceived into thinking they share it when in fact they don’t? Maybe they’re just afraid? Or, there is a severe lack of laborers for the harvest? What do you think?

Actions may speak louder than words, but if there are no words about sin, and Jesus’ death and resurrection, what use are the actions?

Conversations about spiritual things are a must. Conversations that turn the corner to talk about sin, righteousness and judgement to come, and the way out through Jesus’ death and resurrection must take place. Christians must speak, or they are only do what everyone else does.
